I ♥ Faces ~ Slice of Life

This week's challenge at I Heart Faces is "Slice of Life".

I knew immediately after reading a post that Susan Keller's wrote on real life photography which picture I was going to enter. I took this a few months back. My son wants to learn how to play the guitar and my husband was giving him his first lesson. My son was so cute, his tiny fingers gripping the strings, trying to make the cord...and of course my hubby was adorable too. Providentially my camera was in the room and I was able to capture his first lesson. I have a few shots from that night, but this is definitely my favorite. I love the look on my son's face. I love the composition. I love how you can see their fingers through my husband's glasses. Reliving the night fills my ♥ with JOY!

Urban Belly - Vines, Plants, and Red Paint

Urban Mama called me and wanted something fun and unique. I found this cool vine wall in the East Village and she was up for it, she even brought super cute props and had the fun plant idea. And they were up for my ideas too. She is adorable! There is nothing like the first baby!

Beautiful B's Senior Pics

You are getting a double dose of this beautiful senior. We did outdoor shots with an urban, rustic feel at the end of the summer  and then recently took it indoors for traditional shots.

This girl is beautiful, mature and funny!

Senior B

We waited for the weather to warm up so we could do some outdoor shots. Even though our toes were chilly and we were ankle knee deep in snow, the temperature was "up" and we got some great outdoor shots. Senior B is very nice, he's independent and musical (as you can see). It was a pleasure doing his senior photos.
